What to Have Ready When You Call
None of this is required — but if you can tell us a couple of these, we can often name the likely fault before we've even left the depot:
- What the water's doing — stone cold, lukewarm, or running out fast?
- Whether the "HW" breaker at your switchboard has tripped
- Any water around the base of the cylinder (that one changes the answer!)
- Roughly how old the cylinder is, if you know
- When it last worked normally
